Kate Gosselin is Feeling Lonely After the Breakup

According to People.com Kate Gosselin is lonely. Of course, this is a natural reaction to divorce and relationship bust-ups! However, for celebrities in the limelight, it's even harder. Nothing you do or say is private and your grief and your behaviour is recorded by the celebrity gossip and news media. Not an easy task, indeed! You would have to say, it must be even more difficult for the children of Hollywood celebrities. It's difficult enough time even for children of ordinary people. However, in the celebrity news again, the Kate and Jon Gosselin story continues. You'll get no privacy when you're famous - even wearing dark glasses won't help. There's always a price to pay for fame, stardom, wads of cash and the celebrity life.

"While Jon Gosselin has been spotted out with more than one woman since splitting from his wife, Kate Gosselin is not ready for romance.

"I am not yet divorced officially," she told Larry King on CNN's Larry King Live Tuesday when asked if she feels single.

As for attracting potential suitors, Gosselin was clear that she's "too busy" to date. "I'm lonely, but I'm very busy," she said stoically.

Addressing how the couple's children – 9-year-old twins (Mady and Cara) and 5-year-old sextuplets (Hannah, Aaden, Collin, Joel, Alexis and Leah) – are handling the split, Gosselin said: "They understand the process [of divorce]. They're working through it the same way that Jon and I are. They're doing remarkably well."

Gosselin says that like any kids whose parents have split, her children wish she and Jon could be together, but for now, "My goal is peace and we've achieved that."

Still, Gosselin acknowledged that their life isn't always peaceful. She explained an encounter that resulted in the police being called to their home in Wernersville, Pa. "It was not this huge fight," she said. "It was just a thing where I wanted to be there with the kids as opposed to a babysitter. And he wasn't fond of that idea."

Gosselin said she did not call 911, but rather made a "local, routine police call," and that there was no violence. "I have good days and bad days," she said. "This day was a rough day."


"Everyone works. Everyone has a job," Gosselin said when asked about why she signed up for a reality show about her family. "This is the most flexible, wonderful, wonderful job for myself ... The kids are just playing in front of the cameras."

So will the entire family continue the show? Kate would not speak for Jon, who, according to reports, would like to be done filming, but said she'll plans to keep shooting .

"Myself and the kids will continue the show," she said. "I signed my name to a contract and I am going to do my best to make that work as long as it is healthy and safe for myself and the kids."

Does that mean there will be another season of Jon & Kate Plus 8? "Possibly," Gosselin said. "There could be or there could not be."

Mischa Barton Back to Work

Celebrity Mischa Barton is back to work after being released from a three week hospital stay. She was booked into a Los Angeles psychiatric ward after supposedly going on a "three day cocaine binge” so said a friend of hers.

It was rumoured that she was “suicidal” and apparently called the police by herself, prior to her rest at the hospital. Her friends claimed she was in very bad shape, running out of money, loveless and was trying to escape her depression. Apparently, she was in a mess. Mischa had cancelled her appearance to promote her newest movie in New York. She ended up staying in hospital for three weeks.

Her spokesperson now says that Mischa is back at work promoting her new series “The Beautiful Life.” Production had been delayed because of her stay in the hospital. Production began yesterday.

One has got to feel sorry for these young stars. They are blessed by good looks, great bodies, endless opportunities, talent, mounds of cash in hand. The problem is in achieving success too early in life. You don’t have to work for it like normal people. Something tells me that easy success and being blessed in life at a young age is not a positive thing. You don’t know the meaning of the gift of your easy great looks, talent (if you have any) wealth and success. Perhaps these stars with their problems and self pity should travel to some third world country or even look around their own country and see how hard life is for most people in their struggle for survival. Maybe some charity work is in order.

One has to feel sorry for Hollywood celebrities.

Jamie Lee Curtis was a painkiller addict

Hollywood celebrities. They have the dream life, a never ending source of cash, a fabulous mansion, can shop til they drop everyday, and take a vacation at least once a month in some fabulous resort and whatever they want is for the taking! Why is this life so hard? Why do so many of them end up with substance abuse problems?

Jamie Lee Curtis has recently revealed that she was addicted to pain killers. She made this confession recently in light of Michael Jackson’s death. She states that “I believe Mr.Jackson was in pain,” “Mr. Jackson was an addict. It is coming out. Everywhere. He wanted relief and would get it in any name, place or method he could. It was and is a conspiracy of silence and I’m sure there were attempts to intervene and I’m sure his family and friends tried… but the addict gets what the addict wants, relief from the pain of their life.”

The celebrity gossip rumours are flying about the cause and relationship to painkillers connection of Michael Jackson’s untimely death. Jamie revealed that was hooked on painkillers and know how hard it is for people to beat the addiction. She wrote a blog post for the Huffington Post.

“The morphine becomes the warm bath from which to escape painful reality. I was a luck one. I was able to see that the pain had started long ago and far away and that the finding the narcotic was merely a matter of time.

Curtis has since beaten her addicition and stopped using drugs. She writes, “My recovery from drug additionin is the single greatest accomplishment of my life… But it takes work, hard, painful work.”

Who knew???????? Who knew that Jamie Lee Curtis has this struggle to deal with?

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt Have a Fight

Angelina and Brad Pitt had a fight and Angelina has left home and is holed up in the luxury Beverly Hills hotel refusing to answer calls from Brad.

A bitter argument between the two stars broke out last weekend on Saturday following the birthday party they held for their twins, Vivienne and Knox. She stormed out, stuffed a suitcase with clothes, hopped in her car and got a room at the Raffles L’Ermitage hotel.

According to sources at FemaleFirst.co.uk, this is where her mother Marceline Bertrand remained until her death in 2007. Apparently, according to friends, Angelina is still mourning the loss of her mother who died at 56 of ovarian cancer. It is reported that Angelina has remained in her suite, for hours on end as if trying to connect with the spirit of her mother. However, this sounds like nonsense totally.

Angelina is refusing to speak to Brad or take his calls. It is only because of the nannies words to Brad that he still knows that she’s okay.

Their nannies have been seeing Angelina with her kids who are visiting her two at a time.

Let’s hope this is just another lover’s tiff and Angelina and Brad work it out and become one of Hollywood celebrities longest lasting pairsome. The couple have six children together. There’s a lot at stake.

Kim Kardashian Addicted To Shopping

It is rumoured about the shopping habits of Hollywood celebrities that Kim Kardashian is obsessed with shopping.

The socialite - who counts Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie among her closest friends - is famous for her luxury lifestyle and admits even the global financial crisis hasn't curbed her spending habits.

She said: "My sister told me that a have a bad shopping problem - again - but I think it's OK. But isn't that what all addicts say? I do have a lot of clothes and accessories because I like to keep up with the trends."
