Celebrity News:
Farrah Fawcett’s friend Alana Stewart stated she is in awe of her friend’s struggle with cancer just days before Farrah is set to leave the hospital.
“I’ve never seen anyone fight for their life like this,” said Stewart who is always at Farrah’s bedside in hospital. Stewart is the co-producer of Farrah’s documentary about her struggle with anal cancer.
Farrah Fawcett, 62, is current hospitalized because of internal bleeding not related to the cancer. Reports had stated that Fawcett had been in a coma, “she’s never been unconscious,” Stewart stated. “It’s unconscionable for these things to be put out. It’s been tremendously hurtful to Farrah. It’s put her in a panic. But Farrah’s spirit is incredible.”
Farrah’s doctor, Dr. Lawrence Piro has called Farrah “an amazing patient” since she was first diagnosed in 2006. He called Farrah “especially brave because she has had to battle two battles at the same time, that of cancer and going through the cancer in a very public way. Throughout, Farrah has used something which is a masterful gift of hers, and that’s her humour. And positive thinking.”
Dr. Piro said that barring complications, Farrah would be released from hospital in a few days. Meanwhile, visitors, including Stewart and Ryan O’Neal, Fawcett’s long time companion have been by her side.
