Joe Jonas is Single Again

Teenage girls will certainly be ecstatic about this celebrity gossip news. Heart throb Joe Jonas, 19 years old, singer of the Jonas Brothers pop band, is single again! He’s back in the market.

His relationship with the actress Camilla Belle, 22, is so OVER. Camilla Belle’s representative confirmed the good or bad news, depending on your view, saying “Yes, it’s true. There is no third party involved, and they care deeply about each other and will remain friends.” All actors remain friends, have you noticed?

Joe’s big brother Kevin Jonas just got engaged.

Now both of them can get back to the Hollywood dating scene and teen girls can dream that there’s a hope that they, too, can now date Joe Jonas. He’s a free agent.

Mischa Barton Back to Work

Celebrity Mischa Barton is back to work after being released from a three week hospital stay. She was booked into a Los Angeles psychiatric ward after supposedly going on a "three day cocaine binge” so said a friend of hers.

It was rumoured that she was “suicidal” and apparently called the police by herself, prior to her rest at the hospital. Her friends claimed she was in very bad shape, running out of money, loveless and was trying to escape her depression. Apparently, she was in a mess. Mischa had cancelled her appearance to promote her newest movie in New York. She ended up staying in hospital for three weeks.

Her spokesperson now says that Mischa is back at work promoting her new series “The Beautiful Life.” Production had been delayed because of her stay in the hospital. Production began yesterday.

One has got to feel sorry for these young stars. They are blessed by good looks, great bodies, endless opportunities, talent, mounds of cash in hand. The problem is in achieving success too early in life. You don’t have to work for it like normal people. Something tells me that easy success and being blessed in life at a young age is not a positive thing. You don’t know the meaning of the gift of your easy great looks, talent (if you have any) wealth and success. Perhaps these stars with their problems and self pity should travel to some third world country or even look around their own country and see how hard life is for most people in their struggle for survival. Maybe some charity work is in order.

One has to feel sorry for Hollywood celebrities.

Britain’s Got Talent Susan Boyle Doing Fine

It would appear that Britain’s Got Talent winner (actually she came in second place) Susan Boyle (aka Su-Bo) is doing great. A couple of days ago, she appeared on the Today show interviewed by Meredith Vieira. Susan was looked like she was sporting a new hair style, professionally applied makeup, dressed in an elegant simple purple dress. She now appears like she is accepting stardom in her stride, calmly answering Meredith’s questions, acknowledging she has had a makeover and that the instant stardom is, well, a dream. A fantastic one at that.

The Today show broadcast videos of her winning performances on Britain’s Got Talent, the vids from YouTube that have been downloaded billions of times and made her loved the world over. The show also played a short clip from one of her performances on the Britain’s Got Talent roadshow.

Furthermore, after admitting that she was a Donny Osmond fan, the Today show had arranged with Donny to appear on a video, saying hello to Susan and promising to sing with her one day. Susan was joyful – to get the chance to one day sing with Donny.

And if that wasn’t enough, the Today show brought in – in person, Susan’s idol Elaine Paige who came and sat down with Susan and had a little chat. Looks like Susan will actually get the chance to sing soon with her own idol Elaine Page.

We also learned from Susan’s interview that she is working on an album which will be released in the fall. She wouldn’t reveal any information about this secret but from accounts by her mentor, Simon Cowell – the album is going very well.

This interview will surely put a stop to the all the previous celebrity gossip and nasty stuff in the media. Susan Boyle is on her way to stardom. Obviously, age is no limit.

Jamie Lee Curtis was a painkiller addict

Hollywood celebrities. They have the dream life, a never ending source of cash, a fabulous mansion, can shop til they drop everyday, and take a vacation at least once a month in some fabulous resort and whatever they want is for the taking! Why is this life so hard? Why do so many of them end up with substance abuse problems?

Jamie Lee Curtis has recently revealed that she was addicted to pain killers. She made this confession recently in light of Michael Jackson’s death. She states that “I believe Mr.Jackson was in pain,” “Mr. Jackson was an addict. It is coming out. Everywhere. He wanted relief and would get it in any name, place or method he could. It was and is a conspiracy of silence and I’m sure there were attempts to intervene and I’m sure his family and friends tried… but the addict gets what the addict wants, relief from the pain of their life.”

The celebrity gossip rumours are flying about the cause and relationship to painkillers connection of Michael Jackson’s untimely death. Jamie revealed that was hooked on painkillers and know how hard it is for people to beat the addiction. She wrote a blog post for the Huffington Post.

“The morphine becomes the warm bath from which to escape painful reality. I was a luck one. I was able to see that the pain had started long ago and far away and that the finding the narcotic was merely a matter of time.

Curtis has since beaten her addicition and stopped using drugs. She writes, “My recovery from drug additionin is the single greatest accomplishment of my life… But it takes work, hard, painful work.”

Who knew???????? Who knew that Jamie Lee Curtis has this struggle to deal with?

Patrick Swayze – No Heart Attack

The National Enquirer had falsely reported that Patrick Swayze had had a heart attack, but the tabloid was WRONG! Patrick Swayze’s representative reported that “He’s well” and “…continuing his treatment for pancreatic cancer and doing very well.” Contrary to the Hollywood gossip of the National Enquirer, he did not have a heart attack. They then added that Swayze has “even gained a little weight.”

Surely, this is a good sign.

Charges Dropped Against Kiefer

Well, it’s good celebrity news for actor Kiefer Sutherland, aged 42 – because lord knows, this bad boy needs a break from the law. Charges have been dropped against Kiefer whereby he was charged with allegedly attacking a fashion designer.

The star of TV’s “24” had been charged with attacking Proenza Schouler designer Jack McCollough by headbutting in May in New York City . District Attorney Spokewoman, Alicia Maxey Green stated, “We declined to prosecute after a full investigation and that included speaking to the complaining witness who was quite uncooperative . Therefore, the D.A. declined to prosecute.”

The Los Angeles City Attorney’s office was also looking into the case because of Kiefer’s previous drunk driving charge of 2007 for which he was still on probation for. He has also been cleared by the Los Angeles City Attorney’s office.

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt Have a Fight

Angelina and Brad Pitt had a fight and Angelina has left home and is holed up in the luxury Beverly Hills hotel refusing to answer calls from Brad.

A bitter argument between the two stars broke out last weekend on Saturday following the birthday party they held for their twins, Vivienne and Knox. She stormed out, stuffed a suitcase with clothes, hopped in her car and got a room at the Raffles L’Ermitage hotel.

According to sources at FemaleFirst.co.uk, this is where her mother Marceline Bertrand remained until her death in 2007. Apparently, according to friends, Angelina is still mourning the loss of her mother who died at 56 of ovarian cancer. It is reported that Angelina has remained in her suite, for hours on end as if trying to connect with the spirit of her mother. However, this sounds like nonsense totally.

Angelina is refusing to speak to Brad or take his calls. It is only because of the nannies words to Brad that he still knows that she’s okay.

Their nannies have been seeing Angelina with her kids who are visiting her two at a time.

Let’s hope this is just another lover’s tiff and Angelina and Brad work it out and become one of Hollywood celebrities longest lasting pairsome. The couple have six children together. There’s a lot at stake.

Seems like Jon Gosselin is diving in like a fish out of water. No sooner is he free of The Marriage, he is off whoring around. Just joking around. The dinner did not appear to be a date, an onlooker tells Usmagazine.com, but Major "was flirting shamelessly with Jon." (When contacted by New York's Daily News, Major said: "I have no comment. There was no date. Jon and I are just friends.")

It was among the many sightings of Jon in the Big Apple over the weekend."

Paula Abdul May Quit American Idol

Hollywood celebrity and American Idol judge, Paula Abdul quit "American Idol" and not return for the ninth season says her manager.

All of the others already have their contracts for the new season of American Idol. Ryan Seacrest has signed a $45 million contract for three years. Randy Jackson is signed up till 2011. Simon Cowell is already involved in negotiations to renew his contract. Paula’s manager has not even received Paula’s new contract. The other female judge, Kara DioGuardi, only signed for one season. Is that possibly because Paula is a woman and has been left till last? Don’t want to question this, but why oh why is Paula left without her contract. It’s understandable she would be pissed.

Paula is not very happy about it to say the least. What would American Idol be like without Paula? She’s a necessary part of the judge’s team, able to soften the blows of nasty Simon. Honestly, she adds balance to the American Idol team.

American Idol begins audtions in August and it will return to us on our television screens in January of 2010. They’d better hurry up and get that contract renewed with Paula. American Idol needs Paula.

"Two weeks ago, when PEOPLE asked Tony Romo what he had planned for girlfriend Jessica Simpson's birthday, he said, "It's a secret."

As it turned out, Simpson's birthday surprise turned out to be a shocker: Although Romo had insisted that things between them were "going good," the Dallas Cowboys quarterback ended their year-and-a-half relationship on July 9 – the night before the singer turned 29.

"She is heartbroken," says a source. "She loves Tony. But it's been difficult lately. He's busy with his career and she's getting ready to shoot her show (The Price of Beauty). They decided to part ways."

But nobody would say that the pair didn't give their relationship a good shot – weathering many a storm and breakup rumors before.
Early Romance
After Simpson and her family went to see Romo play for the first time in November 2007, things moved pretty quickly – he even kissed her on their first date!

"The fact that this guy, on our first date, in the first 10 minutes of dinner, wanted to lean over the table and say, 'This is my girl and I want to kiss her' – our first kiss in front of everybody – was awesome," Simpson said at the time.
